Your soul has a purpose.
Your body has a blueprint.
Physician-guided care to understand your physiology, care for the body, and support the life you're here to live.
Medicine, Reimagined.
Physician-Led Care
Work directly with a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who understands both the biology of the body and the experience of spiritual awakening—so you never have to leave part of your experience at the door.
Personalized Strategy
Your health is understood in context—your physiology, symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and what you’re experiencing as you evolve—so your care reflects the whole picture.
Embodied Health
Medical care is only part of caring for the body. Together, we turn understanding into the way you eat, move, rest, respond, and care for the body through transformation.
Understanding changes everything.
When something changes in your body during a period of spiritual awakening, it isn't always obvious what it means.
You may wonder whether what you're experiencing is physiological, psychological, spiritual—or some combination of all three.
You search. You read. You try to put the pieces together.
You shouldn't have to figure out your health alone.
My role as your physician is not to define your spiritual experience. It's to help you understand what's happening in the body, identify what may need medical attention, and give you a clear path forward.
Because clarity changes the way you experience your health.
And over time, something deeper can happen:
You begin to change the relationship you have with your body.
Not as something to control, perfect, punish, or fear—but as something to understand, care for, strengthen, and partner with.
Your body is not the entirety of who you are. It is the living vessel through which you experience this life.
And that changes what health is for.
Health isn't simply the pursuit of better numbers or a better body. It is cultivating the physical capacity to experience, express, love, create, contribute, adventure, and live.
Medicine gives us the science to understand and care for the body.
Embodiment transforms that knowledge into the way we live.

Why I Built Embodied Health MD.
Health is the embodied capacity
to participate fully in life.
I became a physician because I believe medicine should help people understand their bodies—not simply diagnose disease.
Over the years, I met countless people who were trying so hard to take care of themselves, yet still didn't understand why they felt the way they did. They had symptoms they couldn't make sense of, conflicting advice about what to do, and often a quiet fear that something important was being missed.
But somewhere along the way, I began asking a bigger question:
What is health actually for?
I don't believe we are our bodies. And I don't believe the objective of medicine should be the endless pursuit of a perfect one.
The body is the living vessel through which we experience this life.
It allows us to work, create, love, move, travel, contribute, experience pleasure, care for the people we love, and participate in the extraordinary experience of being alive. And because the body carries us through this life, I believe it deserves our stewardship.
My approach is rooted in modern medicine and deeply informed by Tantric philosophy—two distinct traditions that have shaped how I understand the body, health, identity, and what it means to truly embody what we know.
My own experience of spiritual awakening deepened that understanding. It showed me how profoundly our experience of consciousness can intersect with our experience of the mind and body—and how valuable it is to have a physician who can understand the medical questions without dismissing the larger experience.
This is why I founded Embodied Health MD.
I wanted to create a different kind of physician relationship—one where you can bring the whole of your experience into the room, rigorous evidence-based medicine helps us understand what is happening in the body, and deeply personalized care helps you know how to care for it.
Because our bodies also teach us.
They teach us about agency and limitation. Discipline and surrender. Change and acceptance. Caring for ourselves without making our worth dependent upon the condition of our bodies.
To me, health is the embodied capacity to participate fully in life.
Medicine helps us understand, protect, treat, and optimize the physical vessel.
Embodiment is what happens when that knowledge becomes lived experience.
And ultimately, health serves life.
I look forward to partnering with you.

When Medicine Becomes Personal.
Health isn't about chasing perfection.
It's about understanding the body you have, learning how to care for it, and building the capacity to live your life fully.
Every person arrives with a different body, a different story, and a different vision for their health. But the work begins in the same place:
Understanding.
“I finally stopped being afraid of what was happening in my body.”
"When I was sick, the hardest part was the unknown. I didn't know how long it would last, how long I would be in bed, or whether I was going to get worse. Dr. Thomas helped me understand what was happening and gave me a clear path forward. Having someone I trusted who could make sense of it all made me feel so much less scared and much more confident about my health."
— Cat, Age 43
“For the first time, I understood what was affecting my skin.”
“I struggled with painful cystic acne for years, especially along my chin and neck. I already ate well and exercised regularly, so I couldn't understand why it kept happening. Working with Dr. Thomas helped me see the different factors that were affecting my skin—including the role stress was playing—and approach my health differently. I went from thinking of myself as someone who ‘struggles with acne’ to someone with clear, manageable skin. I haven't had a breakout in nearly two months.”
— Bambi, Age 31
“I finally knew how to make changes that actually fit my life.”
“I'm a nurse, a working mom, and my little boy is my life. I wanted to get healthier, lose the extra weight, and most importantly, set an example for him. Dr. Thomas gave me a clear framework and the accountability I needed to make changes that actually felt sustainable. Now I feel proud of the way I'm taking care of myself—and of the example I'm setting for my son and my family.”
— Jezreel, Age 41
"I don't just feel healthier. I finally understand my body."
— Leslie, Age 40
Every body is different. Every life is different.
So the way we care for them should be, too.
Medicine gives us the science.
Understanding gives us clarity.
Embodiment is where that knowledge becomes a life.
This is medicine in service of life.
